ClayHouston Members at Archway Gallery for Empty Bowls
Several ClayHouston members will be represented in the Archway Gallery Invitational Exhibition and Silent Auction benefiting Empty Bowls Houston and the Houston Food Bank. The Exhibition/Auction will run from March 7 through April 3, and unsold works will be transported to the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft for the Empty Bowls Preview Party on Friday evening, April 3, and the main event on Saturday, April 4. The Exhibition/Auction opening reception is Saturday, March 7, 5 - 8 pm, at Archway Gallery, 2305 Dunlavy Street. Photos are works by Roy Hanscom and Maria Raquel Morales.

Ron Loyd in "7th Biennial Central Time Ceramics International"
Ron Loyd has been juried into the "7th Biennial Central Time Ceramics International", presented by Bradley University Galleries in Peoria, Illinois. Juror is Doug Jeppeson and exhibit runs from March 9 - April 17, 2020.

Pat Johnson at Texas Clay by the Bay
Texas Clay by the Bay at the K Space Contemporary in Corpus Christi. A 2-day pop-up show in the gallery during the city’s March First Friday ArtWalk. The show will open the evening of Friday, March 6, 5:30-9:00 pm, and Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm. The pop-up will be followed by an exhibition that will be installed in the gallery March 11 – April 8, 2020.
The following artists were selected by the K Space exhibition committee: Alejandra Almuelle, Mary Fischer, Michael & Gaye Lynn Hodgson, Stan Irvin, Pat Johnson, Shikha Joshi, and Jess & Jamie Lea Wade.

Empty Bowls Houston- April 4, 2020
Artists from the greater Houston area are elbows-deep in bowl-making in preparation for the 16th Annual Empty Bowls Houston to be held Saturday, April 4, 11 am – 3 pm at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Each year, more than 1,000 unique bowls are created and donated to help raise funds for the Houston Food Bank’s mission to provide food for better lives in Houston and the surrounding counties. For a $25 donation, attendees may choose a bowl and receive a simple soup lunch, enjoy entertainment in the HCCC garden, visit with artist demonstrators and feel good about helping to fill the empty bowls and tummies in Houston.
Bowl donations may be dropped off at the below locations:
· March 16 - April 3 at the Ceramic Store (1002 W. 11th St., Mon. – Sat.)
· March 21 - April 3 at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (Wed. – Sun.)
